The purpose of the PPGOA Gathering is to learn from PPGAA, the group we are modeled after, and to come together in fellowship. PPGAA has been successful in helping large numbers of alcoholics to recover.  We learn from their many years of experience how we in PPOA can best carry the message of recovery, found in the book, Alcoholics Anonymous, to those who suffer from compulsive eating.

If you would like to stay at this hotel we suggest you book your room asap.  A limited number of rooms have been reserved for $99 per night.  If you would like one of these rooms please contact Regina E..  The hotel offers a shuttle from the Love Field airport, free wi-fi, a pool, Starbucks,  a full service restaurant, refrigerators in the rooms (you can request a microwave), and you can ask for a room with two double beds or a king size bed.  They also all have sofa sleepers.  Up to 4 people can stay in a room at no additional cost.  Hotel cancellations are allowed up to 11:59 pm the day before arrival. The Gathering will be held in Dallas Texas this year to allow participants the opportunity to experience some of the AA groups and meet some of the AA members who have been a part of our groups history.  The Gathering will begin Friday evening and meet all day on Saturday.  Saturday evening there will be an opportunity to attend a PPGAA meeting.  On Sunday we will meet in the morning and there will be additional opportunities to attend meetings with PPGAA fellows.  It is thrilling to see firsthand how PPGAA members carry the message to others.  Gathering registration cost is $75.
